Coosa Christian won the last time they faced Victory Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Coosa Christian Conquerors' way against the Victory Christian Lions as the Coosa Christian Conquerors made off with a 76-51 win. The Conquerors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Coosa Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylen Johnson led the charge by going 10 for 19 en route to 26 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of Coosa Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dj Mackey, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Coosa Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Victory Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Wilson, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Austen Lett, who put up 11 points and six boards.

Coosa Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 31.6% in those games and 29.3% outside of them. As for Victory Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coosa Christian will take on Jefferson Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Coosa Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. Victory Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
