Softball Recap: Jackson North Side Comes Up Short

Jackson North Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the Jackson South Side Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Jackson North Side's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Jackson South Side, their victory ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson North Side will venture away from home to face off against Bolivar Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson South Side, they will head out to square off against Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
