After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hampton, Kecoughtan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 14-7 win over the Menchville Monarchs. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 37-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The critical scores for Kecoughtan came from James Vinnie and Josiah Richardson.

Kecoughtan moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Menchville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
