Basketball Recap: Gallatin Comes Up Short

Gallatin lost against Milan back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gallatin Bulldogs received a blow as they fell 53-35 to the Milan Wildcats. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 13-6 in the first quarter.

It was another big night for Marian Dabney, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards for Milan. Dabney has been hot, having also posted three or more blocks the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mya Pauley, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and six rebounds.

Gallatin now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Milan, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Gallatin will face off against Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milan, they will challenge Montgomery County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
