Sandhills/Thedford has gone a perfect 6-0 against Hyannis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will square off against the Longhorns at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Sandhills/Thedford's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
On Thursday, Sandhills/Thedford strolled past Mullen with points to spare, taking the game 48-32. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandhills/Thedford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maurice Robinson, who rushed for 71 yards and one TD, and also threw for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Robinson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Carter Anderson also helped with two scores in total.

Sandhills/Thedford didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Robinson, Peyton Saner, and Ethan Rabou picked up one apiece. Rabou has been hot for a while, having also posted six or more total tackles the last 15 times he's played.
Meanwhile, Hyannis made easy work of Brady on Thursday and carried off a 56-30 win.
Sandhills/Thedford better keep an eye on Beau Rice. He was instrumental in Hyannis' win, rushing for 196 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. Rice is becoming a predictor of the Longhorns' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Ely Van Renan, who picked up 96 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hyannis was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Hyannis picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Sandhills/Thedford, their record now sits at 5-2.
Everything came up roses for Sandhills/Thedford against Hyannis when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 76-14 win. In that matchup, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 52-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
