It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dublin can now relate to. They were dealt a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Dougherty Valley Wildcats on Wednesday. The Gaels just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.
Dougherty Valley found their leader in sophomore Kaitlyn Lohe, who threw for 298 yards and six touchdowns while completing 85.7% of her passes, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Lohe has posted since back in September. 81 of Lohe's passing yards were hauled in by Lauren Lohe, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Dougherty Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-11 record this season.
