Mattawan joins Top 50 after winning state title in Michigan.

The final MaxPreps Xcellent 50 National Softball Rankings have just one change from last week and that comes in the final spot in the rankings.

Mattawan moves into the No. 50 spot after winning the state championship in Michigan. Mattawan shut out Bay City Western, the previous No. 50 team, 3-0 in the Michigan Division I semifinals last week and then dominated in the championship game, 12-0 over Anchor Bay. Bay City Western had defeated two-time state champion Hudsonville the week before.
