Sean O'Connell, Rodriguez's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Thursday. O'Connell did his part (and then some), scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2 for the 'W'. He is becoming a predictor of Rodriguez's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).

O'Connell's strong effort led Rodriguez over Sacramento and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rodriguez is a perfect 3-0 against Sacramento going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
