Soccer Game Preview: Chelan vs. Everett

The Chelan Mountain Goats will challenge the Everett Seagulls at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Chelan headed into their last match having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Omak let them put that streak behind them. The Mountain Goats never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Chelan as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Everett made sure to put some goals up on the board against Marysville-Pilchuck on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Tomahawks with a sharp 4-1 win. Everett haven't had any issues with Marysville-Pilchuck recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Chelan's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Everett, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
