Baseball Game Preview: Exira-EHK Spartans vs. Glidden-Ralston Wildcats

The Exira-EHK Spartans will head out to square off against the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Exira-EHK has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Exira-EHK and Boyer Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Spartans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-5. The Spartans have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Glidden-Ralston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 18-11 to CAM. Even if the Wildcats couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Exira-EHK's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Glidden-Ralston, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
