Hale Center entered their tilt with Abernathy on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   7-6 W against the Antelopes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  8-6  on Wednesday.
 Hale Center let  Sofia Gomez and  Avelynn Trevino run wild. Gomez  went 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Trevino  scored a  run while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Trevino a new career-high in  RBI (three).  Bella Ruiz was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
Hale Center pushed their record up to 19-5 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Abernathy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-8.
