Buckfield has gone 9-1 against Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bucks will head out on the road to square off against the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m.

Buckfield can't be too happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They fell just short of Leavitt by a score of 4-3.

Buckfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Harvey, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Valley strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Wiscasset as they made off with a 25-3 win. Fans of the Cavaliers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Buckfield took their victory against Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bucks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
