Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sutherlin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Klamath Union Pelicans 53-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Sutherlin's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Klamath Union, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Sutherlin will venture away from home to take on Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Klamath Union, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cascade Christian at 7:00 p.m. The Pelicans will need to watch out since the Challengers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
