Soccer Recap: Reed-Custer Comes Up Short

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Reed-Custer was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They came up short against the Coal City Coalers, falling 4-0. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Reed-Custer it sure didn't stay that way.

Reed-Custer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coal City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Reed-Custer and Coal City will both be playing Plano the next time they take the pitch. The Comets will host the Reapers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Coalers will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
