Crane Medical had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Latin Romans with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 70-52. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Crane Medical's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Latin, they moved to 21-8 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Crane Medical knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Phillips likes a good challenge. Latin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
