Mid Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They beat the Boiling Springs Bubblers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on Monday.

Mid Valley's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Boiling Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
