Football Game Preview: Hartford vs. Mt. Mansfield

Mt. Mansfield have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Hartford at 7:00 PM. Mt. Mansfield will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Hartford will be their toughest opponent yet.

Mt. Mansfield faced Burlington/South Burlington in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mt. Mansfield managed a somewhat close 28-22 win over Burlington/South Burlington. The victory was familiar territory for Mt. Mansfield, who now have five in a row.

Meanwhile, Hartford were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Brattleboro 54-18. The success made it back-to-back wins for Hartford.

Mt. Mansfield have to be hurting after a devastating 8-37 loss at the hands of Hartford the last time the two teams met. The defeat knocked Mt. Mansfield out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Hartford with a vengeful fire.
