Softball Recap: Rocky River Comes Up Short

Rocky River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Providence Panthers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Tuesday.

Rocky River's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Providence, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky River will take on Independence at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence, they will square off against Ballantyne Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
