Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hebbronville). They never let IDEA Edinburg College Prep get on the board and left with a 32-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hebbronville and bumps their season record up to 7-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hebbronville will square off against IDEA Quest College Prep on Monday. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they will challenge Idea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. IDEA Edinburg College Prep has given up an average of 27.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
