Volleyball Recap: Deweyville Takes a Loss

Deweyville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Warren Warriors, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-16.

Deweyville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Warren, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Deweyville will square off against Spurger at 4:30 p.m. on the 5th. As for Warren, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against West Orange-Stark on the 29th.
