Baseball Recap: Frostproof Comes Up Short

Frostproof lost against LaBelle on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Frostproof Bulldogs came up short against the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls, falling 11-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frostproof saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nico Rybinski, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Bradley Roberts was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Frostproof's record now sits at 2-8. As for LaBelle, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: LaBelle beat Frostproof by a score of 11-5 later that day.
