Baseball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton's last matchup with Calvary Christian could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. Dayton lost 16-1 to Calvary Christian. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 last Friday.

Dayton's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Calvary Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dayton will square off against Conner at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvary Christian, they will face off against Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
