Meanwhile, Roaring Fork earned a 3-1 win over Moffat County on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Roaring Fork walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-27, 26-24.

Basalt has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Roaring Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
