Volleyball Recap: Monticello's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellevue, Monticello was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since October 14, 2024.

Monticello moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Calamus-Wheatland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Monticello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Easton Valley on the 6th. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Central City on the 6th.
