Softball Recap: Whitewright Comes Up Short

Whitewright lost against Honey Grove back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Whitewright Tigers lost 15-7 to the Honey Grove Warriors.

Joslyn Jones was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Whitewright dropped their record down to 7-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Honey Grove, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitewright will take on Ector at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Honey Grove, they are taking a road trip to take on Collinsville at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Honey Grove is facing Collinsville at the right time seeing as Collinsville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
