Symmes Valley finds home court redemption against South Point

There's no place like home for the Symmes Valley Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against South Point by a score of 47-36 on Saturday. This was payback for Symmes Valley, who suffered a 46-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Symmes Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lydia Saunders out in front who scored 13 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals. Desiree Simpson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Symmes Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for South Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Symmes Valley will head out on the road to face off against Wheelersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Point, they will be playing at home against Rock Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
