Basketball Recap: Lamesa Takes a Loss

Lamesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 34-22 to the Crane Cranes.

Lamesa's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Crane, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Lamesa and Crane could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lamesa (ranked 887th) will meet Stanton (ranked 323rd) at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Crane will square off against Coahoma at 6:15 p.m. on Friday down 888 places (1098 vs. 210).
