Soccer Recap: Roanoke Rapids Comes Up Short

Roanoke Rapids came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles.

Roanoke Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Roanoke Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against North Johnston on the 28th. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they will challenge South Iredell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
