Football Recap: Make It 13 in a Row for Armwood + How To Watch

Armwood had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the South Lake Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Jovonie Feblez was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Those 114 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Feblez was just one part of a punishing run game: Armwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 294 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Armwood, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Larry Warren, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

The win keeps Armwood at an undefeated 13-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.5 points on average this season. As for South Lake, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

Coming up, Armwood will host West Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Bulls have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. South Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
