It's playoff time, and Speedway had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Cascade Cadets 74-54 on Friday. The Sparkplugs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Cascade lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brady Trebley, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 16 points and five boards. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Connor Sanders, who shot 58% from the field to rack up 15 points and five rebounds.

The win snapped Speedway's losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 3-19 record. As for Cascade, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.

Speedway has already played their next game, a 70-40 defeat against Northview on the 8th. Cascade does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
