After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Hollywood Hills was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 27-1 to the Deerfield Beach Bucks. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Bucks: they've now lost five in a row.

Hollywood Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Deerfield Beach, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Hollywood Hills will welcome Plantation at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deerfield Beach, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-2 loss against Archbishop McCarthy on the 18th.
