Basketball Recap: Platte Canyon Comes Up Short

Platte Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against The Academy Wildcats, falling 66-28. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 57-35 to the Huskies when the teams met back in January of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trey Boychuk continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for The Academy, going 8-for-15 on his way to 24 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Landon Aguirre, who posted six points along with six assists and six steals.

Platte Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for The Academy, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

As of now, neither Platte Canyon nor The Academy have any future games scheduled.
