Soccer Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

Raytown came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oak Grove Panthers, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Raytown's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oak Grove, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Raytown didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Warrensburg on the 25th. As for Oak Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Cameron on the 25th.
