Volleyball Recap: Classical Prep Lions vs. Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers

Classical Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

While Classical Prep ultimately came up short, they really made Angeline Academy of Innovation work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 21-25, 23-25, 15-4.

Madelynn Zimmermn paced Classical Prep's offense, picking up 17 kills. Zimmermn got some help from Anabel Christianson and her 26 assists. Alaina Girard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
