Volleyball Game Preview: Lutheran Gryphons vs. Grand Isle Trojans

The Lutheran Gryphons will face off against the Grand Isle Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lutheran took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Varnado 3-0. The Gryphons not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Grand Isle sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over V.B. Glencoe Charter two weeks ago.

The win got Grand Isle back to even at 1-1. As for Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
