Baseball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

Montrose lost to Grand Junction on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Hawks lost 10-4 to the Tigers. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chazz Miller made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Montrose's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't).

Montrose's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Grand Junction, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.
