Softball Recap: Rancho Mirage Takes a Loss

Rancho Mirage lost against Shadow Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rattlers came up short against the Knights, falling 23-6. The Rattlers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reyna Vergara was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Lilian Rocha was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Rancho Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Shadow Hills, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Rancho Mirage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-3 win against Palm Springs on the 6th. As for Shadow Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against La Quinta on the 6th.
