Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lanier Christian Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the West Hall Spartans 60-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-27 back in December of 2024.

Leading Lanier Christian Academy to victory were Ellie Roberts and Adelyn Gough. Roberts went 5 of 8 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds, while Gough went 5 of 10 on her way to 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Gough a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Elliana Clark, who posted four points and six rebounds.

Lanier Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

With the victory, Lanier Christian Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-7. As for West Hall, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
