Softball Recap: Ida Wins Going Away Against Sand Creek

Ida's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sand Creek Aggies as they made off with a 14-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bluestreaks considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Madi McCain was a standout: she scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Alexa Swiderski, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Ida back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ida will host Dundee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bluestreaks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Sand Creek, they will square off against Waldron at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
