After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Union brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let the Carbon Dinos get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Ailey Burgess was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Charlee Kesler, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Union's record is now 13-6. As for Carbon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Union will challenge Ogden at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carbon, they will take on Providence Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dinos will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
