Volleyball Recap: Central Golden Eagles vs. West Springfield Terriers
Central won the last time they faced West Springfield and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Golden Eagles had just enough and edged out the Terriers 3-2.
Central wouldn't go down easily and took West Springfield into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 21-25, 20-25, 25-12, 16-14.

Leading Central to victory were Janelisse Garcia Esteves and Yarielis Cordero. Garcia Esteves had six aces, while Cordero had 12 digs and seven aces. Cordero has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last eight times she's played. Sitay Abdulahi also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.
