Volleyball Game Preview: Northwestern Trojans vs. Clover Blue Eagles

Northwestern is 0-5 against Clover since September of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Blue Eagles at 6:45 p.m.

Northwestern lost 3-0 to Catawba Ridge on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-6, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Clover got the win against Fort Mill on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Blue Eagles haven't had any issues with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While Clover might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Fort Mill scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-20.

Clover's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Northwestern might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Clover in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
