Newton-Conover won against West Caldwell last Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Newton-Conover was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Lincolnton Wolves. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won seven in a row.

Newton-Conover now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lincolnton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
