Johnson kept up with Jefferson until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Dragons never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Give Jefferson's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Johnson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Jefferson and Johnson will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Dragons will square off against rival Cherokee Bluff at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Johnson is set to challenge their familiar foe Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
