It was a good run, but Lakewood Ranch unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to the Jesuit Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Tigers are ranked fourth).

Lakewood Ranch's goal came courtesy of Broden Beorlegui, who's now up to 25 this season.

Lakewood Ranch suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 12-2. As for Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 11-2-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lakewood Ranch wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-3 draw against Sarasota on the 13th. Jesuit has also already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Wesley Chapel on the 13th.
