Basketball Recap: Scarborough Comes Up Short

Scarborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Northside Panthers, falling 59-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-5 back in November of 2024.

Scarborough's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Northside, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Scarborough will square off against Washington at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Northside, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Northside Panthers face off against the Wheatley Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Wheatley will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Northside surely won't give up without a fight.
