Norwalk put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. They didn't even let the Firebaugh Falcons on the board, marking the Lancers' second-straight 8-0 shutout. Considering the Lancers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Norwalk's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Firebaugh, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Norwalk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Firebaugh, they will challenge Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
