Patriot is a perfect 10-0 against La Sierra since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
La Sierra will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Patriot extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Warriors took their game with ease, bagging a 42-13 win over Rubidoux. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Falcons are ranked 930th).

Nathan Villanueva
| 10/17/25 vs Rubidoux | 137.5 |
| 10/09/25 vs Norte Vista | 118.8 |
| 09/19/25 vs Shadow Hills | 92.3 |
| 10/03/25 @ Ramona | 68.2 |
| 08/22/25 @ Chaffey | 48.6 |
Patriot's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Nathan Villanueva, who rushed for 69 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and K'YRan Spenser, who rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Villanueva a new career-high in passer rating (137.5).
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Patriot was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 152 rushing yards in 16 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Spenser, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Sierra). They blew past Jurupa Valley 52-28 on Thursday.
Patriot better keep an eye on Steven Moore. He was instrumental in La Sierra's win, throwing for 464 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt. Moore's passing game has become a key predictor of the Eagles' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise. 99 of Moore's passing yards were hauled in by Shawn Childs.
La Sierra's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Robert Carranza refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself.
Patriot's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for La Sierra, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-5.
Saturday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Villanueva and Moore. Villanueva just won't slow down this season and has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 54.1 passing yards per game. Moore has been a dominant force too and has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 220.1 passing yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Patriot against La Sierra when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 48-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
