Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Christian Flames vs. St. Peter's Spartans        
        
		
             Mansfield Christian waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the St. Peter's Spartans 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flames also won the last time the pair played  back in September of 2022.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mansfield Christian took every set by at least 20 points. After all that action, the final score was 25-2, 25-5,  25-4.
  Ally Shoemaker had a dynamite game for Mansfield Christian,  getting 16  aces and 12  assists. Shoemaker is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last 34 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mckenzie Webb, who  had six  aces and four  digs.
 She wasn't the only good server: Mansfield Christian  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 38  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 34 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Mansfield Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for St. Peter's,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Mansfield Christian will welcome Hillsdale  at 11:15  a.m.  on Saturday. St. Peter's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
