Cole Stafford Delivers Best Effort of Season

Cole Stafford produced his most outstanding game to date while leading LaVille to the win on Friday. Stafford rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

LaVille's win bumped their record up to 4-5. They and West Central are set to duel on Friday.

Jake Conroy Turns in Another Game with at Least 102 Rushing Yards

On Friday, Knox got the W thanks in part to Jake Conroy playing the best football he has all season. Conroy's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.

Knox pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Conroy and Knox will head out on the road to face off against River Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tyrus Graverson's Big Game Leads Bremen over Tippecanoe Valley

Tyrus Graverson posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 121 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Bremen is undefeated when Graverson posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

On the season, Graverson has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 104.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had three receiving touchdowns.

Jon Neese put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 23 yards and two touchdowns.

Whiting's probably not too fond of Neese given he always seems to get the better of them. Neese rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Oilers duked it out back in October of 2023.
